Since low temperature lowers the methane bacteria’s activity to affect the biogas output in cold weather, we recommend our end users to use hothouse cover to keep the biogas digesters warm. It is easy and economical to do so. In some areas, if there is rice straw available, it will be very feasible to cover the biogas digesters with the rice straw to keep them warm. If the weather is too cold, we can design a heating system to make sure the biogas digesters under a proper constant temperature, and then the biogas plant can work very efficiently all the year free of climate impact.
